CyclopsCat (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates this website and the mobile games published under the CyclopsCat brand. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights over it.

Account data (Google Sign-In)

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store these in our database to identify your account. We never see your Google password.

Newsletter subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter we store your email address. We use a confirmation email to verify ownership before adding you to the list.

Usage data

Our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard HTTP request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is retained for up to 30 days and is used only for security and performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate you when you sign in.
• Send you a welcome email when you create an account.
• Send you CyclopsCat news, dev updates, and exclusive offers if you subscribed to the newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email).
• Respond to support requests you send through the contact form.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

3. Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth — handles authentication. Google Privacy Policy.
• Neon — hosts our PostgreSQL database on servers in the United States.
• Resend — delivers transactional and newsletter emails.
• Vercel — hosts this website and processes HTTP request logs.

4. Data Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use a single session cookie set by Auth.js to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tools.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to delete your account entirely, email us at contact@cyclopscat.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. We will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify newsletter subscribers by email.
